TLC were able to completely refurbish a little-used room in the school using a charitable grant, this room has become an area where TLC programmes of Action Groupskills, Accelerated Learning, Behaviour Leadership and Behaviour Recovery all take place.

School Staff are released from timetable to work alongside experienced TLC practitioners delivering the programmes. In this way the school staff become familiar with the approach and over time find themselves confident to lead in the delivery of the programmes

Lisa Robertson is a Learning Mentor for Year 7. She is working with TLC practitioner Jan Hanley between 9.15 and 12.30 on Tuesdays to deliver Action Groupskills to two groups of children from Year 7. Next term, Lisa will be working with another Learning Mentor in the school to deliver the same number of programmes to Year 10.

Advanced Skills Teacher Lynn Langford is working with TLC Director Toby Quibell to deliver Accelerated Learning to Year 10 and Year 11 children identified as C/D boarderline. Next term Toby and Lynn will be working with another teacher in the school to transfer the skills into the staff team.
